How to configure Softphone (Dialer)
- You can download the Softphone from FinVOIP Homepage or from Downloads option. You can also click the link below to go to downloads area.
save the application on your PC and install it. When it is installed and launched, you will see a window like
- You will receive Account and Password from FinVOIP after successful registration.
- Enter the Account and Password in the Softphone window and click the “Save” option.
- Click on “Login” option to make calls. When your account is registered with server, you will see a window like below with “Account Name” and “Logged in” on softphone.
- Dial national numbers as 0 + Area code + Telephone number. Ex: 02 100 XXXX.
(This feature is applicable for only Portugal Customers. All other customers, residing outside of Portugal, need to dial all numbers in International format. For more details, please check the welcome letter received from support team)
- Dial International Numbers as 00 + Country code + Area code + Telephone number ex: 0044210XXXX.
- You can hangup and make another call.
- You can see CDRs (call detail records) by clicking “Recent Calls” in MyAccount.
How to use WebCallback
- Login to MyAccount and click the link Webcallback.
- Your Phone Number:
- Select the country
- Enter the Phone number from where you want to talk.
- Enter the phone number as area code (without zero) + Telephone number
- Ex: 2100XXX ( 2 is the area code in Portugal)
- Destination Phone number:
- Select the country
- Enter the destination phone number number, to whom you want to talk.
- Enter the phone number as area code (without zero) + Telephone number
- Ex: 248800025 ( 24 is the area code in Nederlands)
- Click the icon “Call” and you see ringing on your phone in 10 to 15 seconds.After you pick up the phone, you will hear ring from destination number.
- After disconnecting the call, you need to close the window “Please wait”. To call again, click webcall back link to make another call.
